Welcome #1 FIELD TRIP DESTINATION
NEWS FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dear Teachers and Parents,
Mission San Juan Capistrano continues to be a meaningful and safe outdoor learning environment for student field trips.

Book a guided tour, an audio tour or a Mission Matters adobe brick making class for the entire class or the individual 4th grade learners in your life. They will enjoy learning more about historic life as they explore the Mission! Extend your learning by booking an onsite, hands-on experience from our education partners including Journeys to the Past Presented by Jacque Tahuka Nunez, Native American Educator and Seismic Shakeup presented by The Discovery Cube.

A visit to the Mission allows students to use their senses and dive in the past while learning about jobs and duties that were an important part of building and operating the Mission. Learners also gain a greater appreciation of our Indigenous peoples' contributions. Book your Mission experience today!

Sincerely,
Mechelle Lawrence Adams, Executive Director
