Mark your calendars for Educator of the Year 2019, held on Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at the Q Center in St. Charles! The Educator of the Year Awards celebrate the teachers, administrators, and support staff that work everyday to provide a fantastic education for students throughout Kane County.

Nominations are now being accepted by the ROE through March 4th, 2019. The  nomination packet can be found here and the physical forms will be sent out later this week. All nominees should be skillful, dedicated, and continue to play an active role in education. The ROE has  put together a video  that explains how to nominate someone for EOTY. Past Few Weeks:
Institute Day 2019
Kane County Institute Day will be on Friday, March 1, 2019. We are searching for educations to present and share their expertise and knowledge with fellow educations at this year's Institute Day!

We had awesome success with last year's event and would love to keep the trend continuing through 2019. Due to the positive feedback from last year, we will continue to follow the conference-style format with breakout sessions throughout the day.

The Progress Report:
This week's post in The Progress Report is a topic regarding perspective friends. Katie shares how different perspectives impact our lives and those who surround us.

The Progress Report is a collaborative discussion space for professional learning. Each post is written by Katie Algrim, the ROE's Director of Innovative Professional Learning. If there are any topics that you would like to see a post on,  please contact Katie Algrim.
