From Around the Web: "We Don't Need to Teach Our Kids to Code, We Need to Teach Them How to Dream"
This thought-provoking article by Tom Goodwin on LinkedIn poses the question "is education today getting it wrong?"

Goodwin talks about taking an inside-outward approach to shaping kids' futures in a changing world.
"It’s staggering to me as to how much the world has changed, and how little education has," Goodwin says.
Excellent Courses Approaching Registration Deadlines — There's Still Time to Reserve Your Spot!

We're always adding to our diverse offerings to bring you the best in relevant tech integration training, whether through online courses, offerings that are face-to-face in your local community, or through a cohort. Please be sure to check the course listing page regularly if graduate-level educator training is part of your New Year's resolution for 2017 (most courses also available as part of the new Wilson College Master of Educational Technology (M.E.T.) degree program).
Eduspire Solutions Introduces "Auto Pass"
Eduspire Solutions, our software division, is constantly innovating and improving its school technology products. The most recent upgrade to e-hallpass, a digital hall pass application, is "Auto Pass" — a feature which provides teachers with hands-free classroom management. Students initiate and activate their own passes, minimizing interruptions, and teachers can enable or disable the feature at any time! Read our blog post to learn more and see a video.
Eduspire is Looking for Guest Bloggers!
We want our blog to be a place you visit for interesting, relevant, current, and informative content. In order to help us better cater to our readers and audience of education professionals, we invite you to submit ideas for blog topics that you'd like to see the Eduspire team write about.
Feel free to submit more than one idea with your response. Topics can range from the latest ed-tech news and developments, to new apps you've begun to use in your classroom, to common experiences faced by educators that you'd like to see your peers weigh in on. We may write about your suggested topic and highlight it in an upcoming newsletter, so keep an eye on your inbox — and our blog!
