Welcome to Edwardstown Transformed
Welcome to the second email edition of Edwardstown Transformed. This newsletter aims to keep you informed about the development of Edwardstown Oval into a modern sporting and community complex and memorial site. It also introduces you to some of the clubs and people involved.

Memorial gardens to be ready for Dawn Service
Work on the memorial gardens is progressing quickly.

Work to build the new two-storey facility that will be the centrepiece of the $8.8 million new-look oval has begun.

Upgrades to the memorial garden on Raglan Avenue are nearing completion. New pillars are being installed and the gates refurbished.

Work to install turf, plants, a shelter and landscaping is also underway.

The memorial garden will be ready to host an ANZAC Day Dawn Service at 6.30am on April 25. A barbecue breakfast will be available at the Edwardstown Football Club after the service.

The old bowling club building is now being demolished and access to the car park is now closed.

Half of the car park upgrade has been completed and a spectator mound and bike and cricket storage are being built.

An additional car park entry/exit point is located further south along East Terrace.

The old memorial hall has also been demolished.

Work is expected to be completed in early 2019.
