Effective Ministry: Impacting Communities for Christ

"In that way the word of the Lord kept spreading and triumphing."

-Acts 19:20

Greetings Ministry Partners,

"Effective" means not merely doing activities but making a true impact and bringing change to the ministry and community. In Acts 19:11-20, Paul’s church planting led to the name of Jesus being held in high honor. Similarly, our aim is effective local church ministry.

God's Financial Principles (GFP) Seminar

On October 15th, we held a training session on God's Financial Principles at the Church of the Divine Mercy in Chonburi Province, Thailand. This session brought together CCI classes from neighboring provinces. We’re grateful for this essential topic, which emphasizes that our finances are inseparable from our Christian life. Obedience to God and the awareness that all we possess belongs to Him as stewards was a key theme. This training awakened a deep understanding that God calls us to live rightly in our work, family, and finances, putting Him first. The session brought unity within the CCI family, from students to coordinators, as Pastor Mana, Pastor Apichat, and two others presented. Students were blessed and challenged, and many were inspired to embrace these principles in their lives.

Teacher Training Workshop (TTW)

On October 10th, we held a teacher training workshop (TTW) in Chiang Mai, co-led by Pastor Jimmy and me. Every coordinator’s responsibility in Thailand includes raising awareness, launching new classes, and annually training teachers. This year, over 100 teachers completed the training, and we’re particularly grateful that 10-20% are now opening new classes, driven by a desire to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission. During this training, we equipped 10 leaders, and we have since followed up to learn that at least four new classes of 10 students each are in progress. Those joining CCI expressed a strong sense of urgency to make disciples and strengthen the church.

Resolving Conflict in a Godly Way Seminar

On October 5th, we conducted a training on Resolving Conflict in a Godly Way. Our mission is to equip God's workers to serve effectively, focusing on people and biblical principles. Conflicts are common, even in remote communities, yet many lack the biblical tools to handle them. This training highlighted the importance of resolving conflicts with wisdom, fostering unity among family, church, and community leaders. We thank God for CCI's role in strengthening these churches.

These experiences have greatly encouraged our team, showing us God’s hand in leading the CCI mission across Thailand and globally. We deeply appreciate each of you who has faithfully prayed for and supported CCI’s ministry in Thailand. Thank you for your support and prayers.

Rev. Dr. Apichat Kalawantawanich

Northern Thailand's Eastern Region Coordinator

"First of all, I want to thank God and CCI for the opportunity to serve the Lord in a way that pleases Him, which is making disciples through the process of studying and teaching God's Word. This is a wonderful way to build role models both within the church and in the community, so that everyone who does not believe may see that we are people of God, His handiwork.

This October, I had the opportunity to conduct training on Resolving Conflict in a Godly Way and God’s Financial Principles. These trainings helped all the participants to understand the will of God even more, especially in areas that allow others to see the people of God living righteously. This is what He has prepared for us to do.

Throughout my service with CCI up to the present, there are no words greater than 'Thank God.' Serving with CCI has allowed me to see the lives of many church leaders being built up to become ministers and witness them bringing souls to salvation in Jesus Christ. I have also seen several churches established by those whose capacities were enhanced through CCI. For myself, I have gained new knowledge and experiences in ministry, and I feel more confident when delivering teachings as a CCI instructor. Those who attend the training are genuinely committed to applying what they learn to daily life and ministry.

I thank God for guiding me to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission, which is to make disciples so that they may become disciple-makers until Jesus Christ returns. May God bless all CCI leadership and supporters. May God bless you."

Testimony

“One evening, a friend and I discussed studying the Bible more systematically. Curious about local options, we remembered Rev. Dr. Panya mentioning Bible teaching at Life Center Church, so we visited him the next day to learn more. The structure of CCI's program immediately impressed us, and with encouragement from Rev. Dr. Panya, Pastor Amphon, and his wife—along with the inspiration of Philippians 1:6—we enrolled.

Since starting, I've gained a deeper, clearer understanding of Scripture. This study has strengthened my relationship with God and improved my ministry. I now share God’s Word accurately and sincerely, striving to stay true to its message. Learning to handle the Word properly, I see how it builds others up, bringing transformation through biblical principles. Today, I serve at Living Church Streams Pattaya, teaching Sunday school, leading Bible study in the community, caring for the worship hall, leading Sunday services, and encouraging fellow believers.”
