  Effective Social Media Marketing- It Does Exist!
Digital Rochester hosts local business professionals to present social media marketing strategies 

Rochester, NY- Digital Rochester's Digital Marketing Special Interest Group (SIG) is presenting "Effective Social Media Marketing- It Does Exist!" on Thursday, September 28, 2017. This event is being held at the Rochester Museum and Science Center and will provide insight to marketers, company owners, digital marketing professionals and marketing agency professionals on how to effectively utilize social media marketing.
Social media marketing can be complicated due to the many factors that need to be considered. But when applied properly, social media can be a valuable asset in a company's marketing efforts. It offers opportunities for the business to grow as a whole while expanding their marketing reach.
At this event, local marketing professionals will provide their own perspectives on how to meet your marketing objectives using social media. Event participants will hear from:
  • Reagan Burns, Lime Creative

Reagan will present her experience helping clients incorporate social media marketing into the broader marketing strategy. She'll provide specific examples of how various digital marketing tools can be integrated to achieve optimal results.

  • Peter Platt, Accountable Digital
Peter will demonstrate how social media can play an important role in the marketing efforts of B2B companies. Peter will present a number of case studies and examples of how his agency helps B2B companies use social channels to great effect.
  • Jeff Interlicchia, McCarthy Tents & Events
McCarthy Tents has achieved amazing growth with revenues increasing 640% from 2011 to 2016. Jeff will talk about how they have used social media to help grow their customer base and achieve this remarkable business growth. He'll talk about best practices for what and when to post based on what has been successful for them.

The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with coffee and networking at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. Following the three speakers, there will be time for questions from the audience.
