Noel Cookman (The Mortgage Institute) will present this program for 1.5 hours of MCLE credit, no ethics, on Friday, June 21 , 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. at the Heritage Plaza Ground Floor Conference Room .

The ability for a homeowner to refinance the mortgage and remove an ex-spouse is critical to good finances. Courts cannot compel lenders to advance funds; leaving divorce settlements with, seemingly, few avenues or remedies for the reasonable requirement to refinance joint debt OUT of one party’s liability. This conundrum can easily be resolved by establishing a series of triggers. But a greater question than HOW an agreed divorce settlement can require such is WILL such a transaction actually take place.

No pre-registration is required. Written materials are available for up to $15.
