Fun Runs
Registration for the 2023 Fun Runs is now open! These runs are for all ages and are approximately one mile long. The trio consists of:
- Bunny Hop, April 2, 2023
- Spooky Sprint, October 21, 2023
- You Can't Catch Me, November 25, 2023
Each race is $25 with participants receiving a free T-shirt and goodie bag. Sign up for all three races and save $15!!!

Ottawa Street Pool
Season passes are now on sale! Ottawa Street Pool passholders receive early admittance and Passholder Appreciation Day. Passes are $40/$50 for residents/non-residents now through May 26. Passes must be purchased in person.

Great Adventures Preschool Information
New student registration applications are now being accepted through March 16 at the Great Adventures preschool office located inside the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center at 24550 W. NEW! Summer Basketball League
New this summer! The Plainfield Park District is hosting boys and girls basketball leagues for grades 1-4. League emphasizes proper techniques, knowledge of the rules, team strategy, participation and fun. Practices start the week of June 12, with games beginning the weekend of June 24. Enrollment is limited, so register early.

National Walking Day
In honor of National Walking Day, admission for the indoor elevated walking track at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center is FREE for residents Wednesday, April 5! Additionally, if a resident purchases an annual membership on April 5, they receive one month FREE! Visit the front desk April 5 to purchase the annual membership.

Gary Kantor Magic Class
Participants learn tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more at Gary Kantor's Magic Class, set for 6:45 to 7:40 p.m., April 27. Tricks are quick to learn and easy to perform. All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children ages 5-12 are grouped by age and learn tricks that are age appropriate.
