AAP Washington Door Knock
Your AmChams of Asia Pacific annual Washington, DC, door knock will be held from Sunday, July 16, 2023 - Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Information and expression of interest to join can be found by clicking here. This year's Door Knock will be capped at 50 delegates. (As a point of reference, last year's delegation had 42 members.). We will provide notice to each AmCham of who has expressed interest from their respective membership.
For those who express interest by Friday, April 14th, offers will be sent on or before that date to join the delegation. A spot will only be confirmed if the $1,250 registration fee is paid in full by the delegate within 14 days thereafter. Otherwise, it will be released.
The $1,250 registration fee to participate in the Door Knock does not cover your airfare, hotel, local transportation, or other incidental expenses. It covers meeting costs, briefing materials, and meals/receptions noted above. Please note that AAP delegates are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. Easter in Mangilao!

The Mangilao Mayor's Office will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th at 9:00 am at the children's park in Mangilao. Children aged to participate are ten (10) and below. They will give away some great prizes to those who win the best-decorated basket and finds the golden and silver egg.
Mangilao's guest appearances by the Easter Bunny, Jamaican Grill Jerk Man, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Mayor Allan and Vice Mayor Kevin, along with their staff look forward to seeing you there!

Give and Enjoy the Gift of Music
The award-winning Youth Orchestra Tumon Bay presents "Give & Enjoy the gift of music!" 2023 Season Final Concert which will take place at the Crystal Ballroom, Lotte Hotel Guam on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Doors open at 3:30 pm and will begin at 4:00 pm. Tickets are available for purchase, at $18 for students, seniors, and military. $25 for General Admission, and $40 for VIP Seating. 2022 Congressional Art Competition

Every year, a nationwide art competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our Congressional District.
Open to all 9 - 12 grade students in the district of Guam! The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the United States Capital and will be featured on House.Gov's Congressional Art Competition Page. The Office of Congressman James Moylan is requesting that all art pieces be submitted to their office on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 3:00 pm. The Art Competition Ceremony will now be April 22, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

High School Students Encouraged to Apply for Transportation Institute
June 18 - 30, 2023
The Governor's Office and the Department of Public Works announces the opportunity for four (4) high school students to participate in the Pacific Summer Transportation Education Program.
National Summer Transportation Institute hosted by the University of Hawaii at Manoa is scheduled for Sunday, June 18th - Thursday, June 30th in Oahu. the camp will introduce students to Transportation careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through related activities, field trips, and recreational events. Travel and housing accommodation cost are covered!
