Beat Cancer with a Bat and Viking Baseball

The Viking Baseball team is hosting the annual Beat Cancer with a Bat baseball game on Friday, April 25th.  The Vikings will take on Cloudland and the game will begin at 4 p.m.

All the proceeds from this year's event will help with the medicals expenses for three special people:  
      Erin Carver - Teacher at Crossnore Elementary
      Jan Ramsey - Parent of an ACHS student
      Peyton (Taylor) Buchanan  mother of two and daughter of retired Avery County Schools teacher Bonita Taylor

Family, friends and cancer survivors are invited to join the team for the special "Cancer Survivor/Fighter Walk Around the Bases" in honor or memory of any cancer victim/survivor.  

T-Shirts may be purchased now or at the game and admission to the game will be a donation!!  Concessions featuring hamburgers, hot dogs with all the fix in's and desserts will be available. There will also be a Silent Auction where bid can be made at anytime before or during the game.
