Eggs-Treme Easter Celebration!

NEW IBERIA, La. --- Get your baskets ready! Jefferson Island Rip Van Winkle Gardens along with The Frosted Apron will be hosting their first annual “Eggs-Treme Easter Celebration!” on Sunday, April 14, from 2 - 4 p.m. 

Each participant will be able to decorate two Easter themed cupcakes, take
pictures with the Easter Bunny, decorate a flower pot, and take part in an Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of the Jefferson Mansion. A special prize will be awarded to the finder of the Golden Egg and door prizes will be given away.

There will also be several vendors from the surrounding area set up with items
available for purchase. As always, Café Jefferson will be open from 11 a.m.
until 3 p.m. and Jefferson Mansion tours are available for $12 for adults
and $6 for children 6 to 17.

The event will be held at the Bayless Center (5505 Rip Van Winkle Rd., New Iberia), located on the grounds of Rip Van Winkle Gardens. Pre-registration is required as there are limited number of spots available.  Reserve your spot by either contacting The Frosted Apron Facebook page or by calling Stacey Dempsey at (337) 201-1952. The cost will be $20 per person participating in the event.
