9 AM Shotgun Start

To celebrate Valentine's Day, grab your favorite golf partner and enjoy a fun day of friendly competition at the Eglin Golf Course.

Play is a 2-person scramble format that encourages teamwork as you navigate the 18-hole Eagle Course. Entry fees range from $35 to $55 and include cart and green fees, lunch, and prizes. Call or stop by the Pro Shop to register. Ask about the $10 couples' discount! . . .

Eglin Golf Course

Join your fellow fans and favorite rivals on Super Bowl™ Sunday at the Eglin Golf Course, and enjoy a thrilling night of football, food, and festivities! Admission is FREE for all DoD MWR-eligible personnel. Buffet options and beverages will be available for purchase — including beers on tap and full bar service (for ages 21+. ID may be required. Please drink responsibly) . . .

Sunday, January 26

9-11 AM

Grab a cup of your morning fuel with fellow motor enthusiasts at Cars & Coffee, hosted on the last Sunday of each month in front of the Eglin Auto Hobby Shop and Thrift Shop near the East Gate. Come out to see (or bring your own) project cars, muscle cars, classic restorations, custom builds — any and all vehicles have a space for display! Cars & Coffee is a FREE, casual, and non-competitive social event . . .

9 AM - 4 PM

The Eglin Community Library is celebrating International LEGO® Day with multiple screenings of "The LEGO® Movie" throughout the day (9 and 11 AM, and 1 PM). Also enjoy a Building Bonanza all day long, with a variety of bricks and sets provided by the Library, plus other creative activities like coloring sheets and designing your own Minifigure! The fun is FREE and open to all ages . . .

Thursday, February 6

9 AM - 12 PM

Eglin’s Military & Family Readiness Center welcomes expectant parents to its fun-filled “Bundles for Babies” workshop. Learn the basic skills of parenting and caring for a newborn, as well as financial skills to help with budgeting for the new baby. Class is open to all DoD cardholders. Qualifying attendees* receive a $150 voucher to help with purchasing new baby essentials!

Saturday, February 8

9 AM - 12:30 PM

Enjoy a whimsical morning of creativity at the Eglin Community Library as you design and construct your very own miniature fairy garden! The library will provide small “vessel” boxes and/or cardboard, but feel free to bring your own planter or pot. Participation is FREE, all ages are welcome, and no registration is required. Supplies will be available first-come, first-served . . .
