We strongly encourage everyone to make arrangements and celebrate Eid with your entire family at main gathering at the Eastern Athletic Fields - Football Stadium at 8:45 am.

May Allah enable us to make full use of the remaining days of this blessed month Dhul Hijjah, and get us closer to Him by increasing our worship and good deeds on these blessed days. May Allah accept all our worships, forgive all our sins, shortcomings and mistakes and keep us steadfast in His religion. May Allah bless us and our families with good health, prosperity, joy and peace. Aameen.

We wish you and your family a safe and joyous Eid. Eid Mubarak!
Eid Gathering Safety Guidelines
1. With the Eid prayer being held outdoors, we will maintain 3 ft social distancing, with facemasks being highly recommended, but not mandatory.

2. Members of the same family can stand together for the prayer (do not need to practice social distance).
As Muslims we are required to offer a sacrifice during Eid Al-Adha, and distribute two thirds of it to the poor, to family members, and to neighbors.

The Michigan Muslim Community Council - has collected and distributed the sacrificed meat to needy families in metro-Detroit. Over 30,000 lbs of meat are collected and distributed annually for Eid al-Adha. See details here.

The cost of each lamb is $200, and must be paid online by the end of the day on Eid Al-Adha to be accounted correctly.

The meat is stored by Gleaners Food Bank in special freezers, and distributed in 50 lb boxes across the area to Muslim and non Muslim families alike who have been identified as being underprivileged.
