Mission Appeal Appreciation

The Marian Sisters of Eucharistic Love in Ghana send their heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to the pastor and the parish family of the Oratory Churches of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Boniface for the warm reception you gave Fr. Francis Asagba when he visited your parish for the mission appeal on the weekend of July 26 and 27. We are grateful for your generous donations to support our mission of seeing Christ in the abandoned children we serve. Please keep the Sisters and our Apostolate in your thoughts and prayers. Be assured that the Sisters will remember you and your loved ones in our prayers. Click here to learn more about the work of the Sisters.

Mass Intentions

It has been a long tradition in the Church to offer Masses for people to pray, especially for the dead, seeking God’s grace, mercy, and spiritual benefits through Christ’s sacrifice. Usually a modest donation is given for this. In the coming weeks we have several Masses with no particular intentions. If you would like to have a Mass offered for someone (living or deceased), email the parish office at info@oratorychurch.org or click here.

🏙️ Beyond the Oratory

Monday, August 4 & Wednesday, August 6, 6:30–8:00pm (2 parts), Zoom

Ecological Spirituality: A Leavening and Fermenting Agent

Come explore a world view which holds that, "The Universe unfolds in God who fills it completely; that there is a mystical meaning to be found in a leaf, in a mountain trail, in a poor person's face" (Laudato si' #233). We'll explore the field of ecological spirituality not only intellectually but also affectively through suggested activities which will open your heart to the reality "that the Divine and the human meet in the slightest detail in the seamless garment of God's creation, in the last speck of the dust of our planet" (Laudato si' #9). Presented by Sr. Margaret Galiardi, OP. Click here to register.
