Dear Class of 2025 Families,

A decision as to whether or not tomorrow’s Eighth Grade Closing Ceremony will be moved inside to Schoedinger Theatre will be made tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. It is my hope that we can give our students the best chance at celebrating their last day in Middle School together outside and with family. Waiting until the morning allows us more time to determine if the weather should alter our plan.

If the ceremony is held outside on Hondros Field, please remember that parking in the athletics lot will not be allowed until after 8:30 a.m. so as not to interfere with morning dropoff for the Lower School. If you are staying on campus after dropping off your eighth-grader, please park in the lots on either side of the middle/upper school dropoff circle.

If we move the ceremony inside, only faculty and students will attend. Families will be able to watch via a Zoom webinar link that will be included in tomorrow morning’s communication only if needed for this purpose. Regardless of the ceremony’s location, it will be a full day of school for all students, and a video recording of the ceremony will be posted on the school’s social media for all to view.

Thank you for your patience.

Enjoy your evening,

Shaka Arnold
Head of Middle School
