A Life of Sacrifice
Giving our time
Meeting new people
Leaving our comfort zone
Helping others different than us
Sharing the Love of Jesus with the hurting
Working hard for Jesus
Long hours, long days, long Blessings!
This is what it means to live a life of sacrifice. Romans 12:1 states, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship."
We worship God by presenting our life to him in service to His Kingdom. The Church is not a social club where we hang out with our friends. It is a team of workers sent out into the world to carry the message of life, hope and transformation by connecting with people anywhere and sharing the love of Jesus. We are workers, servants, helpers, givers, forgivers, reconcilers and peace keepers. It is not always easy but is definitely rewarding. A true follower of Jesus will live a life of sacrifice as we seek to follow our master, Jesus!
