 Family Sunday!!!
October 29th
No Gathering at Parkwood Club
Every fifth Sunday the Ekklesia family encourages all our members to go out into the community and enjoy the day in fellowship with others, neighbors or family members. We encourage all members to find something to do that engages others in our community. Invite friends to a BBQ or a fun outing together. This Sunday a family picnic is planned out at the Miracle Ranch camp south of Port Orchard that is hosting their annual Harvest Festival over the weekend. We will meet as a group out at Miracle Ranch at 11am on Sunday to enjoy the day together. Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with the group.

Tiny Cottage Construction Update

A big thank you to our local Lowe's store who has stepped up to help park three of our recently built tiny cottages. Cottages #7, #8 & #9 will be parked out in front of the store for the next few weeks as we make preparations for the new village site. Thank you to Valerie the store manager for accepting our request for help to store the tiny cottages.

Prayers are needed as we are presently meeting with a local church and a local family who own property where the tiny cottage village might be located. These two options might work out as a probable site for the village.

Several opportunities to build more tiny cottages will occur over the next few weeks. Volunteers will be needed.

Ekklesia and First Lutheran will build two more cottages in the coming weeks.
Grace Bible Church will build #7, #8 & #9 cottages on August 19th in their parking lot.
First Lutheran Church will now store three of the completed cottage in their parking lot.  #6, #3 and #10
Habitat For Humanity has built #10 tiny cottage in Port Orchard
Kaiser Permanente Corp. has committed to building three tiny cottages on the three clinic locations across Kitsap County in the next few months.
United Methodist Church in Port Orchard has committed to giving the funds to build another cottage to Mr. Winn the SK High School wood shop teacher.
Spirit of Life Lutheran Church has committed to build a cottage in a few months.

We now have eighteen tiny cottages sponsored by local businesses, service groups or churches. Ten cottages have been built!

Thank you to Leo's Towing who continues to offer his services to move our cottages when needed!

We have been blessed by so many people who have supported our work planting the Ekklesia Church. Your prayers and support enable us to dedicate our time toward connecting with people in our community. We share our time, love and service with whomever we meet. By doing this we are building the Kingdom of God.
Thank you.
