Birthday Sunday- May 1st
Ekklesia's 3rd Birthday

Ekklesia family and past members are all invited to join us on Sunday morning for a time of thanksgiving and celebration as we eat around tables. It's our third birthday and we want to have a birthday party! We'll eat together and enjoy a great time of telling stories of God's goodness.
  • Everyone is invited to consider sharing their own personal experiences as a member of the Ekklesia mission team.
  • What past experiences or service projects have blessed your life?
  • How has your life changed since becoming a part of Ekklesia or committing to follow Jesus?
  • What people have blessed your life in the Ekklesia community.

Let's remember all the wonderful people and places that Ekklesia has been called to bless over the last few years. God is good and knows where we need to be every day! Sunday will be a celebration about God's goodness to our new church. Happy Birthday Ekklesia!

IMPORTANT!
Sunday will also be a BREAKFAST POTLUCK! Everyone is encouraged to bring a breakfast dish to share.
Breakfast: 10:00am - 10:45am
Sharing and worship: 10:45am - 12:00noon

Work at Sandy's Last Sunday
A group of Ekklesia volunteers will again descended on Sandy's yard and continue work on clearing debris, trimming trees and bushes. We will again load up a dump truck in order to haul off the yard debris. Young and old are invited to participate. There will be work for everyone to do. We will do this project following our brief morning worship gathering rain or shine.

A special dramatic presentation will be given on Mother's Day, May 8th by Grandma Bobbie Blair.
The Story of Naomi- a dramatic monologue presentation depicting the story of Naomi's life from the Book of Ruth. Grandma Bobbie will tell the story of a mother who almost lost everything but kept her faith in God through all her trials. This special Mother's Day presentation will be given following our morning brunch provided by the Ekklesia men.
