Ekklesia is a Team of Missionaries

We are mechanics, computer IT analysts, building contractors, Military family services specialists, home health care aids, super market managers, home remodelers, boat remodelers, professional house cleaners, home school teachers, National guardsmen, painters, plumbers, preschool teachers, restaurant owners, landscapers, concrete contractors, seamstresses and many other talents. Ekklesia people are using their talents and careers to connect with people in our community in order to build the Kingdom of God. We all contribute in whatever way we can to serve others and share the love of Jesus to our community. We share responsibilities during our Sunday gatherings to set up, clean up, teach, lead worship, and share with one another.  May each of us come to realize our role in the body of Christ as his personal ambassadors that are "on mission" to change our community for the Name of Jesus! Every kind word, bag of groceries, yard clean up project or anything that blesses others is for the Name of Jesus. We are all missionaries here in our home town.. everyday... and with every deed we do!

Teaching and Serving During August
During August several Ekklesia leaders will teach on the first and third Sundays. Darren Hanson will teach on August 7th and James Goodman will teach on August 21st. On the 14th and 28th Ekklesia will have abbreviated gatherings then send out workers to serve in our community.

Tiny House Village for the Homeless
Multiple churches in the Port Orchard area have asked Ekklesia over the last few weeks to partner with us as the plans develop for a Tiny House Village for the Homeless. As multiple groups come forward asking to partner with us please keep us in your prayers as organizational meetings continue to move us forward. We have some very exciting proposals coming form local Kitsap County service groups that want to get involved.  We'll give you more details in the coming weeks as our partnerships solidify. Pray for protection and pray for our leadership group to make wise decisions!

Thank you
Ministry is filled with opportunities. Lisa and I are grateful to have been given this ministry to the Port Orchard community as new people come into our lives to serve and love. We continue to be blessed with the knowledge that so many of you are praying for us. Thank you for your support.
