Ekklesia Christmas Gatherings
Dec. 4th- The Word is Our Guide- Jesus Became Flesh
Dec. 11th- Angels Announce His Coming
Dec. 18th- Jesus is Born!
This month Ekklesia will focus on Jesus and his Coming to Earth! Everything we do, every word of encouragement and act of kindness is because of Jesus' life and example of sacrifice for the world. Each Sunday during the month of December Ekklesia will focus on Jesus' coming to earth and the gift of his life. Jesus is our reason for this season of giving.

Christmas Opportunities to Serve and Connect
1. EKs Christmas Brunch/Gathering- Dec. 18th 10am
On Sunday, Dec. 18th, Ekklesia will have our annual Christmas brunch and gathering. We will gather at the Parkwood Club at 10am for a time of food and fellowship. We will also have a special time of worship centered on the birth of Jesus Christ involving our youth.

2. Food Bank Set Up- Dec. 21st 8-11am
Workers will be needed on Wednesday morning, Nov. 21st to set up the Food Bank's food supplies and the Christmas gifts in the National Guard Armory for the Christmas distribution.

3. Food Bank's Christmas Food and Gifts distribution-
    Dec. 22nd & 23rd at the Armory- 9:30am til 5:30pm
Volunteers will again be needed over these two days (Thursday and Friday) to help the food bank distribute food and presents to over a thousand families.

Severe Weather Shelter Up Date
We are presently waiting to hear from several locations that are potential sites where we will be able to operate a Severe Weather Shelter for South Kitsap County. Pray for doors to be opened and for a crew of volunteers to be gathered in the coming weeks. The weather is definitely turning more frigid only increasing the need for this shelter.

Coffee Oasis Family Christmas Project
Holidays are approaching! And for many youth in Kitsap, they have no home and family to celebrate the holidays with. So every year Coffee Oasis hosts a big Christmas party at each of their locations, share a meal, sing songs, and give gifts. All these things tell the kids, "This is your HOME, and we love you."

Ekklesia would like to join this project by sponsoring youths for Christmas, and you can help provide a HOME for holidays for a young man or woman. Contact Sarah Pyke for more  information!

Christmas is Almost Here!
Lisa and I have enjoyed some much needed rest during the Thanksgiving break. Thank you to all our friends and supporters for your words of encouragement and financial support. Our days are filled with opportunities to bless others and share the love of Jesus. Thank you for partnering with us!
