Prayer Needs

Monique Parry's friend- 
prayer for friend Mindy and daughter- Mallory who was diagnosed with cancer
Gary White- has been struggling with a deep bone infection in his foot
Steve and Janet Pearce- who have found a buyer for their home as they prepare to move to Utah!
Ron Weeks- wife (Pam) who continues to recover from several cancer surgeries. They feel so blessed to know of her continued recovery and God's goodness!
Francene and Lee Criswell's neighbor- Ron-A father of 4 children dealing with cancer 
Elizabeth Herrera- the passing of her father a few months ago in Arizona
Ekklesia House- pray for a new opportunity that has presented itself for us to build a new homeless shelter community in South Kitsap.

New Gathering Location
Parkwood Community Club
3045 Madrona Dr. SE, Port Orchard
 Ekklesia is a grassroots mobile church intentionally focused upon connecting with people wherever we are planted and with whomever we know. We do enjoy gathering together on Sundays for a brief time of encouragement, worship and teaching. We also use our gathering as a launching center to send out workers to serve others on a regular basis. Our new gathering place at the Parkwood Community Club will not be our new identity but only serve as a point to connect with each other so we can further focus our energies on blessing others and building Jesus' Kingdom here in Port Orchard. We have prayed about our new gathering location on Sundays and have found the Parkwood location and facility to be right for the Ekklesia church at this time. We continue to experience growth as new families and individuals gather with us each week. So, who knows, we might need to find a larger place in a few months that further meets our needs. Jesus' clear command was to go and make disciples of him by connecting, sharing, blessing and going into places that help us meet new people. Let's do this as we use the Parkwood location to meet new neighbors and the many people we connect with every week!

Easter Picnic at Burley Park
March 26th 
Ekklesia will again be holding it's annual Easter picnic in Burley Park on Saturday, March 6th. We will have a potluck picnic with everyone invited to bring something to share. There will also be an Easter Egg hunt for all children. There will be an egg hunt area for the younger children and a separate area for the older youth. We will also be having a pinata for the three age groups of children. So, everyone is encouraged to start buying plastic eggs and the candy contents that we always place inside the eggs. Invite your friends. This will be a great day in the park to have fun and connect with new people.

Easter Sunday Children's Play
On Easter Sunday, March 27th our children will be leading our worship as they provide our church with a play about Jesus' resurrection. Ekklesia friends Trent and Michelle Herbert will be directing this play. They will need to rehearse over the next several weeks on Saturdays. We look forward to Easter Sunday and sharing the fact that Jesus is Alive!

Easter is almost here and the plants are budding out! I love this time of year as life returns and new things happen! We are so grateful for all our supporters for your prayers and support as Lisa and I work in the Port Orchard area to build Jesus' Kingdom!
