Saturday May 13th- 3 Tiny Homes to Build
Ekklesia has been called to bless those in need in our community. The new Tiny Homes Village that is being developed will be a ministry to bless the homeless in our community. Tim Blair was asked a month ago by Kitsap County Commissioner Garrido to spread the word about this project among the many churches in South Kitsap and ask for their partnership. We have stepped out in faith to participate in this work and have received an abundant response from many organizations and churches in the community. Here is a list of organizations that have committed so far to build a tiny house for the village over the next few weeks.

- South Kitsap High School CTE- Career & Technical Experience classes- 1

- West Sound Tech Skills Center in Bremerton- 1
- Ekklesia Church- 2
- First Lutheran Church- Port Orchard- 1
- United Methodist Church- Port Orchard- 1

Six tiny houses have now been sponsored by three churches and two community organizations! We will need twelve units as the basis for the beginning of our tiny house community. We are half way there!

Here is a list of organizations and churches that are very interested in partnering with us.
- Harper Church- Port Orchard
- First Christian- Port Orchard
- Grace Bible Church- Port Orchard
- Adventure of Faith Church- Port Orchard
- Habitat For Humanity

The following community organizations are part of the new "Homes For All" committee that meets monthly and is heading up this project.
Kitsap County Commissioners Office- Charlotte Garrido
Kitsap County Community Development- director- Jeff Rowe
Kitsap Human Services director- Doug Washburn
Kitsap County Homeless Services director- Kirsten Jewel
Kitsap County United Way director- Carl Borg
Bremerton Housing Authority- Kurt Wiest
Housing Kitsap director- Stuart Grogan
Project Share- South Kitsap Pastors and church leaders
KCR- Kitsap Community Resources- Monica Bernhard

These are the churches and organizations that Ekklesia Church is partnering with to create the new Tiny House Village in Port Orchard. We are blessed to be a part of such a ministry and have experienced favor among the community leaders.

Mother's Day- May 14th Breakfast Brunch
On May 14th the men of the Ekklesia Church will prepare breakfast for the ladies of our church. We will have a time of eating together and then a time of worship together as we give thanks for our blessings and our ladies in the church.
An Ekklesia brunch last year.
We will also have a special message about how blessed we are to have our ladies and the importance of moms!

The work of Ekklesia is to make the name of Jesus active and alive in our community. Thank you to all our supporters who have helped make this possible. God is truly opening doors for us and creating great favor regarding our work in this community. Thank you for supporting our efforts as we seek ways to serve and lead others into a life of following Jesus.
