Birthday Sunday- Was Filled with Memories and a Call to Action

Ekklesia people came together last Sunday to share the blessings of Jesus with each other. We ate together and then watched a thirty minute video of highlights from our last three years together as a church. Many people have come and gone over the years. Many new faces have also appeared and amazing memories have been made! Ekklesia is a new church with a mission to reach new people in our community who want to know Jesus. We will continue to pursue opportunities to connect and engage with people in our city. This is where Jesus has planted us and this community is where we are called to serve!
Let's remember all the wonderful people and places that Ekklesia has been called to bless over the last few years. God is good and will continue to open doors for us to bless others with His Kingdom!

Potluck breakfast being shared last Sunday! May 1st

Helpline Food Bank- Bus Unloading
Saturday, May 7th 3pm- 4:30pm
A group of Ekklesia volunteers will again be needed at the Helpline Food Bank this Saturday to unload two buses filled with donated food! The buses will be parked at two Albertson's markets on Saturday encouraging people to donate to the food bank. The donated food will be loaded on the buses and then driven at 3pm back to the food bank on Mitchell Rd. for unloading. We need people to help unload thousands of pounds of boxed food! It should only take an hour or a little more. You will be blessed.

Defending Faith- Aaron Hanson

Faith is under attack in our culture and we are told that it is incorrect in many places to express this faith in a God of the Bible and in his son Jesus. Many don't even believe in God's words in the Bible as being the WORD of God. So, it's with real excitement that we see young people today rising up to defend faith in God's existence, faith in the Bible, faith in a creator and his plan. Aaron Hanson (son of Darren and Billie Hanson) started a blog a few years ago about Christian Apologetics that presents many articles and postings defending our faith that we hold dear. You can find Aaron's blog at:
