Special Election 2025

If it's a new year, it's an election year in Virginia which is one of only 4 states that vote every year (learn more HERE). We always have 2 elections, a primary in June and a general in November. but when an elected official is elected to another office, we have a 3rd special election in January.

On January 7th, Delegate Kannan Srinivasan and JJ Singh are running to protect and ensure Democrats keep the majority in the Senate of Virginia (District 32) and the Virginia House of Delegates (District 26), respectively. This special election affects mostly Loudoun County but may impact our small majorities in the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates.
