Trump Declared “TACO” and Mexico Wants a Wall—for Cultural Protection This Time | | |
In a shocking twist that no one asked for, Donald J. Trump—real estate mogul, former president, and full-time chaos engine—has now been accused of the most heinous political crime of all: cultural appropriation via acronym.
Trump’s new nickname, TACO ("Trump Always Chickens Out"), has gone viral, describing his uncanny ability to launch terrifying trade threats before folding faster than a cheap lawn chair at a Mar-a-Lago pool party. Naturally, the internet responded with Photoshopped tacos featuring Trump’s face, guacamole hair, and a “Make Queso Great Again” slogan.
But the people of Mexico have had enough. “First he tried to make us pay for a wall,” said one dismayed official, “now he’s stealing tacos to cover his tariff tantrums? That’s our national treasure, not your political side dish!”
Cultural scholars warn this could set a dangerous precedent. “Today it’s tacos, tomorrow it’s tamales,” one expert sighed. “We could wake up and find Trump rebranded as BURRITO: ‘Blames Unrest, Retreats Rapidly In Trade Operations.’”
In a press release printed entirely in Comic Sans, Trump denied the allegations, saying, “I’ve always loved tacos. Some of my best golf caddies are taco enthusiasts.”
Meanwhile, Taco Bell is reportedly suing for defamation.

In Donald Trump’s second inaugural address, the president renewed a long-standing promise to deport “millions and millions of criminal aliens back to the places from which they came.” That pitch has always been tailored to help listeners hear what they want to hear. For many of his supporters, “criminal” was the important word, implying that Trump would keep communities safe from the dangerous gang members he had warned them about. But for White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, the most important part was — and has always been — the words “millions and millions.”

"I'm a little nervous, but I'm looking forward to the challenge," Llamas told "TODAY" anchor Savannah Guthrie in a sit-down interview.
Llamas, who grew up in Miami in a Cuban American family, credited his parents with inspiring his journey.
"My parents came here as immigrants. They came here with nothing. Their son is now going to be the anchor of 'Nightly News,' one of the biggest and most important newscasts in our country. What it tells me is that the American dream is still alive. I know that because I’m living it," he said.
