WM is offering two free tours in 2026 of the El Corazon Compost Facility, where Oceanside residents’ curbside-collected food scraps, food-soiled paper and green waste are transformed into compost and mulch through natural decomposition. These tours provide a firsthand look at the composting process and how the facility supports the City of Oceanside’s zero waste goals.
