Meet El Linio -- 100% linen

We added a 100% linen yarn to our website so that we could experiment with linen. Yarn lovers often ask for fibers other than wool and here's a chainette construction, fine fiber linen yarn in tonally dyed colors.

Tamie, our resident crocheter, made up a sample of the Windowpane Scarf in El Linio. Linen is often viewed as a summer fabric in the fashion industry and we think this design looks good in the block crochet pattern.

When you search for El Linio projects on Ravelry.com, you will find some lovely summer tops both in crochet or knit designs.

Tamie used Color 2345 -- "A Dime A Dozen." It's a concrete tan with color change this is quite subtle. Tamie says that the light and shadow play with the tonal colorway. The treble crochet stitches have great definition. Three trebles and three chains makes the blocks for the windowpanes.
