Join us July 15 - 22 for expanded carnival hours at the 2023 El Paso County Fair! All-day ticket passes can be purchased before July 14 for $30, a five-dollar discount! Day passes, and individual tickets can be purchased onsite at the carnival ticket booths.

We are excited to bring a Colorado Professional Rodeo (CPRA) back to the 2023 El Paso County Fair on Sunday, July 16 - Western Heritage Day!

This ticketed event starts at 3:00 pm in the rodeo arena. Fans can enjoy bareback riding, bull riding, roping, barrel racing, and more from the shade of the grandstands.

Want to be a part of the action?

Mutton Busting is at 2:00 pm for kids 7 & under (must weigh less than 55 pounds). There is a $25 entry fee, and the top five will perform in the rodeo performance. Registration opens July 1, 2023. To register, call 719.248.7394.

Steer Riding is available for kids 14 & under. There is a $50 entry fee, and the competition will occur during the rodeo performance.

Tickets include gate admission and are available online and at the gate.

Participate in the El Paso County Nature Centers interactive exhibit in the Whittemore building at the 2023 El Paso County Fair! This will be a FREE interaction opportunity for all! Learn about critters, the nature they thrive in, and how to care for our habitat and theirs!

El Paso County Nature Centers Interactive Experience hours:

Monday, July 17 - Wednesday, July 18 & Saturday, July 22
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 19 - Friday, July 21
Noon - 6:00 p.m.

El Paso County has an award-winning Nature Centers system with Fountain Creek Nature Center and Bear Creek Nature Center. There are also plans for a future Fox Run Nature Center in Fox Run Regional Park. Each center hosts programming for all age groups monthly. Registration is required to participate in specific programming. Some programming has minimal costs associated and is detailed in the registration information.
