Firm Updates Generation Law founder, Ben Neiburger, continues serving in his term as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE), one of the premier providers of continuing legal education to Illinois attorneys. At the board’s September meeting in Springfield, they received a tour of the recently renovated Governor’s mansion. The two-year, $15 million privately funded project provided necessary updates to the 163-year-old building, including a new roof, repairing water damage and updating the HVAC system.  Generation Law attorney Ken Kugelberg’s expertise has been called up for duty once again. He will be presenting sessions on managing claims against an estate and closing estates during an Effective Estates Administration seminar hosted by IICLE on November 14. Where in the World Is Ben? The countdown to 50 and Patagonia continues. Ben Neiburger is getting closer to his 50 th birthday with each stride, pedal and stroke. Last month, he was in beautiful Old Orchard Beach, Maine for the scenic Ironman 70.3 Maine race. This was Ben’s fastest half-Ironman race to date, although despite his turn on the podium, the only thing he won was two post-race Maine lobsters. The race capped off a busy summer of traveling to run, bike and swim in preparation for the Patagonman XTRI extreme triathlon in Southern Chile this December.
