After this week, just one more market until we close and say goodbye to everyone until next May. It seemed like the time just flew by this year.
Besides the few vendors who told us they would not be with us last week, a few others were missing, too, primarily due to bad weather in their area. We still had some great items to purchase, and we tried to remind everyone that they should 1) stock up for the winter and 2) find out what market your vendors sell at during the winter/early spring, and 3) check to see if your vendors have online ordering for you to purchase their products.
Originally, we thought that Night Sky Lamb would be joining us this coming Friday, but unfortunately, they are very busy at this time and cannot make it. We are hoping to hear if they can come for our last market. I will keep you posted.
Last week's winner of our raffle was first-time winner Mary Kramer (see picture below). Mary received spinach from Alcantar Farm, Amsterdam bread from Cloud Cliff, red chile bagels from Bite Me Bakery, a box of assorted pastries from Drift and Porter, baby potatoes from El Guique Farm, soil food from John Tyson, India spice soap from Frost Creek Farm, green and yellow bell peppers and cantaloupe from Hernandez Farm, a bag of apples from Jaramillo Orchards, cucumbers from La Capilla Hopes Farm, blue oyster mushrooms from Maya's Mushrooms, a box of assorted pastry from Santa Fe Sconery, roma tomatoes from Twin Peaks Microgreens, zucchini and tomatoes from Zamora's, and 4 five-dollar market coupons from Bienvenidos Outreach. Congrats, Mary, on winning, and thank you for shopping with us!
