Know Before You Go
If you vote on Election Day, there is a good chance that your polling place has changed for the June 9 Election.  In total, 45 Election Day locations have changed since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

All Fulton County voters who plan to vote on Election Day should check ahead of time to see if their poll location has changed.

Expect Long Lines On Election Day
It's Election Day! Polls are open from 7am-7pm. Make sure you know where to go vote. Visit fultonelections.com to find your precinct. #PostThePeach  #Vote
Residents should expect long lines on Election Day due to combining several different precincts. This will increase the volume of voters at precincts on election day.

Before heading to the polls, voters are encouraged to view their sample ballot to help make the lines move faster. View your sample ballot at the Georgia My Voter Page

All voters in line by 7 p.m. on Election Day will be able to vote.
Voting Reminders

Fulton County is committed to your health & safety. Several measures are in place to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

  • Providing Personal Protective Equipment for all poll workers, and requiring that they wear this equipment throughout their shift.
  • Voters are asked to wear a face covering to protect yourself and others.
  • Voters will be provided a stylus for voting purposes. This will be sanitized after each voter.
  • Social distancing will be enforced, requiring voters to stand at least 6 feet apart.
  • The number of voters inside the poll at a given time will be limited to maintain social distancing.
Returning Your Absentee Ballot
Georgia law requires that all absentee ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. on Election Day. You can return your ballot by mail or through one of 20 drop boxes.

Ballots are picked up from ballot drop boxes every day. All boxes will be locked at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9.
COVID-19 Testing
Fulton County continues to work with partners to maximize testing opportunities. An analysis revealed that more than one-third of the COVID-19 testing in Georgia has been conducted in Fulton County.

Other COVID-19 testing partners in Fulton County include hospitals, the Georgia National Guard, CVS-Health, Walgreen’s, and the City of Atlanta.

Residents who have already been tested at a Fulton County Board of Health site can now log on to  patient.labcorp.com  to check their results online.

Board of Commissioners Meeting
The Board of Commissioners held their June 2020 Regular Meeting on Wednesday. Employees can access video of the meeting on  FGTV's YouTube page.
Fulton Fresh Mobile Market
The first Fulton Fresh Mobile Market session will run June 9 - July 9, 2 020. The Fulton Fresh Mobile Market was created to educate residents living in communities designated as food deserts on the importance of fresh and in-season produce. This season, participants will take part in online nutrition education module and curbside pick-up instead of in-person activities. 

Every week, attendees will participate in a 10 minute online UGA Extension nutrition education module. On the day of the market, completion of the online module will be verified and participants are given a free bag of in-season produce from our mobile market to take home and prepare. Pick-up will be outdoors, contact-less, and curbside. 
Fulton County Library System Celebrates Virtual Summer Reading Program with Special Guest Reader Stacey Abrams
The Fulton County Library System’s Summer Reading Program kicked off Monday, June 1 with a full week of exciting guest speakers. The Library will keep the excitement going Monday, June 8 at 11 a.m. when Stacey Abrams joins library patrons on Facebook Live for a special streaming storytime. 

Stacey Abrams  is a  New York Times  bestselling author, serial entrepreneur, nonprofit CEO and political leader. Ms. Abrams will read two stories for the Facebook Live program.

This year's Summer Reading Program theme is, "Imagine Your Story" and FCLS wants to imagine that story with each and every reader in Fulton County.  Register for summer reading here .
Congratulations Graduates!
This month, three drive-thru celebrations are being held for Valedictorians , Salutatorians and STAR students from Fulton County Public Schools, Atlanta Public Schools and charter schools in the Fulton County. The celebrations allow County Leaders to say job well done to the students while practicing social distancing.

The students participating in the events are given boxes filled with balloons, a celebratory yard sign, speakers, hat and other goodies to help celebrate the milestone of graduating from high school with outstanding GPA's.
