ELECTION DRAMA CONTINUES!
Recounts, Runoffs, & RINOs
"Stop the Steal"
Hundreds of activists gathered at the steps of the Georgia State Capitol Saturday afternoon for the "Stop the Steal" rally protesting the way the presidential election vote count has been handled. Trump supporters expressed their dismay with a trait Establishment Republicans and RINOs have disappointed us with many times before when it's come to so many issues we've found within our grasp to resolve: too often they are more enamored with their power or prestige to take the football all the way into the end zone! We've seen it over the last 50 years with a whole variety of issues.
From the fight to save the lives of the pre-born, to the crusade to cut spending and reduce the federal deficit, to issues involving everything from gun rights to school choice, Establishment Republicans have too often demonstrated themselves to be more talk than walk. That is exactly why the Georgia Republican Assembly (GRA), and its local affiliate organization such as the Cobb County Republican Assembly, exist—to transform the party to stand for what it claims it actually stands for! State Rep. Colton Moore Urges for a Call for a Special Session

GRA-endorsed State Representative Colton Moore (R-Dade) wrote a letter Friday urging the Governor to call for a special legislative session to address and resolve the election abnormalities and related issues.

According to attorney Lin Wood, back in March of this year Secretary Brad Raffensberger changed the rules to make it easier for absentee ballots to be submitted without verification—a subject matter that is the sole domain of the Georgia General Assembly. Only the Georgia state legislature has authority over how elections are to be conducted in our state, and that body did not approve of this change by Secretary of State Raffensberger.
That would be at least one issue a special session could resolve—potentially before the same problems continue with the U.S. Senate runoffs for David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. Republicans are concerned about rushing to throw out the election results and having the Republican-controlled state legislature give Georgia's electoral college votes to President Donald Trump because it could be seen as stealing the election from Joe Biden. But if absentee balloting does not require stronger verification for submission, it leaves open the potential for abuses again in the January 5th runoff.

Governor Brian Kemp announced Sunday afternoon that he supports working with the state legislature to change the law "strengthening Photo ID requirements for absentee ballots." How soon that correction will be made, however, is not clear.
In Cobb County one woman signed a notarized affidavit testifying how she discovered that her 65-year-old son with dementia living in a nursing home in Austell had voted absentee unbeknownst to her and her entire family. Since she has legal Power of Attorney over her son, no absentee ballot for him should have been requested or cast on his behalf without her awareness and approval. The family has been disallowed from seeing him for the last eight months due to the COVID-19 lockdowns.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp
The family was alarmed to have checked the "My Voter" Secretary of State's web page and learn that an absentee ballot had been cast on her son's behalf without her knowledge. This example is just the tip of the iceberg for how the absentee ballot system can be abused! What if thousands of unaware seniors with similar mental incapacities in nursing homes are having their ballots harvested by Democrat activists working in those nursing homes?

Such cases demand investigation prior to finalization of the election results, and the laws concerning the absentee voting system must be revised to require voter verification. If evidence suggests that enough of these type of examples could have impacted the election, either the state legislature or the courts should throw out the November 3rd election results.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger
Recount Fiasco a Huge Embarrassment

Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger (who President Trump called a "RINO" in his recent Tweets) has been the greatest disappointment. Raffensberger implemented a recount of the vote from November 3rd, but how is any audited recount really meaningful when, for example, only one monitor is allowed for every ten tables of vote counters? That is absolutely ridiculous! No monitor is reasonably able to simultaneously look over the shoulder of ten people and ensure they are counting the vote accurately.
Raffensberger should have known better especially since his own election was so very close two years ago. At the time in 2018, Republicans specifically rallied to help push him over the top in his runoff because they knew he'd be overseeing the presidential election this year in 2020 and wanted to make sure a Republican, not a Democrat, was responsible to ensure the vote was counted carefully and honestly. Apparently, that purpose was lost on him.

Besides the controversy mentioned above concerning whether he had the legal jurisdiction to make it so easy to submit absentee ballots without verification (and whether that was even a smart idea), there have been several other concerns expressed by Republican activists about how the recount was handled. U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) reportedly urged Raffensberger to throw out absentee ballots whose signatures did not match, but Raffensberger refused and accused Graham of being unethical in even suggesting such an idea. Huh?
Former State Senator Josh McKoon
This says nothing, of course, of the alleged concerns regarding the electronic voting system from Dominion.

If you’re unhappy with how Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger has been handling the vote count in Georgia, don’t forget that the GRA endorsed Brad’s opponent Josh McKoon, the former State Senator, in the Republican primary two years ago! Hate to say, “We told you so!” but if Josh had been elected instead of Brad, we would probably not be experiencing this mess right now.
Senator McKoon, who is also an attorney, had this to say about the process:
"Georgia law states that if the number of illegal votes received are sufficient to 'change or place in doubt' the result [then] the election may be contested.

"If an audit of the outer envelopes of absentee ballots determined that the signatures did not match on a sufficient number of ballots that were counted, it would not be necessary to prove those ballots were cast for Biden. It would only be necessary to prove the number of wrongly counted ballots placed in doubt the result.

"Also, elections officials do not conduct the signature matching in the presence of observers who are allowed to object. That is one of the reasons I suspect the Trump campaign will ask for an audit with observers present."
GAGOP Chairman David Shafer, 2nd Vice Chairman Brant Frost V, (both of whom were also endorsed by the GRA at the state convention last year) along with the rest of the entire GAGOP State Executive Committee, unanimously agreed in a letter to Raffensberger Sunday afternoon that an absentee ballot audit should be conducted:
"We write today, as members of the State Executive Committee of the Georgia Republican Party and citizens of the State of Georgia, to urge you, in the strongest possible terms, to order an immediate audit of the absentee ballots cast in the 2020 General Election. This audit must include verification of signature match."
Losing Cobb County Commission Chairman Mike Boyce Belittles Those Calling for Recounts
After losing his re-election bid for Cobb County Commission Chairman, Mike Boyce did not have a lot of empathy for Republican activists concerned about problems with the voting process this year. He told reporters, "… we have people who question the integrity of the voting process because they lost.”

Good riddance to Mike Boyce. Boyce lost to Democrat Lisa Cupid by 24,177 votes out of 383,511. Now with a Democrat in the Chairman's seat, maybe other Republican officials won't be quite as hesitant to criticize when the Chair pushes wasteful big-government policies that violate the free market and push our taxes higher. Notoriously, Republicans are too often more conservative when out of power. Being in the minority may help them improve their work for the county commission.
Out-going Cobb County Commission Chairman Mike Boyce
Larry Savage
In 2016 the Cobb County Republican Assembly had endorsed Boyce back when he ran against former Cobb County Commission Chairman Tim Lee because Boyce promised to reverse the awful course Lee had taken the county. But upon election Boyce doubled-down on the same kind of big-government, subsidized-big-business, higher taxes policies that have been turning our county blue over the last ten years! Thus, this year in an electronic convention, the Cobb County Republican Assembly endorsed Boyce's opponent Larry Savage for the Republican primary after conducting video interviews with each of the three Republican candidates on Zoom. Over 90% of the participating members voted in favor of the endorsement of Savage over Boyce.
Cobb GRA members have been especially disappointed with Boyce's real estate tax hike in 2018, giving into pressure from bureaucrats in Cobb County government. But he also came under criticism for his excessive lockdowns during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic when he prohibited citizens from even going to outside public parks.

In his video Zoom interview, Boyce also drew alarm when he told listeners that according to his personal "faith" he knew abortion of the pre-born was murder, but that he would do nothing to try to stop such murder from continuing in Cobb.
Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz Posts "Come and Take It" Thanksgiving Image for COVID Lockdown Enthusiasts
Freedom lovers have to appreciate U.S. Senator Ted Cruz's recent Tweet.
The post comes as many states are threatening to impose harsher lockdowns on those who want to celebrate Thanksgiving as large groups of families. "Come and Take It" was the message on the flag of the freedom-fighters to Santa Anna at the Alamo.

U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky has also been critical of government imposition to prevent herd immunity. As a medical doctor, Paul has pointed out it makes no sense to push for a vaccine if one doesn't believe immunity can be promoted because the object of a vaccine is to build immunity.
Citizens who are experiencing symptoms or who have pre-existing conditions that make them especially vulnerable to COVID should take care and practice quarantining themselves appropriately. But it is unconstitutional and immoral to force everyone, including healthy people, to give up their freedom and ability to work and enjoy family. In the Bible, God only gave human institutions the authority to impose quarantines on those who were demonstrated to be sick. (See, e.g., Leviticus 13.)
For most people, far more valuable than wearing masks and avoiding Thanksgiving celebrations, jobs, or church meetings would be to take Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and Zinc supplements just like Dr. Fauci takes.

It was bound to happen eventually. Last week one of our admins on our Cobb RA Facebook page got put in "Facebook jail" for not meeting Facebook's "community guidelines" after posting several articles and memes about the recount issues and concerns with possible voter fraud. We anticipated something like this would happen, and that's why we also started an account on MeWe! We welcome you to join us!
No wonder the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee has been after Facebook and Twitter for censoring ideas and communications that don't align with their political agenda! (Especially when the federal government gives them special privileges and protections.)
