Election Inspectors,
The purpose of this communication is to provide you an update regarding the election.
Election Schedule
Please view the draft election schedule for early voting (10/26-11/4), early av processing (10/29, 10/30 and 11/2), and election day (11/5) by clicking the link below:

There was a lot of interest in working this election. I filled the time slots based on your availability, political party and past experience. If you have any questions or concerns let me know via email. I am still very busy so only contact me by email.
Note that this link takes you to a google workbook which contains three spreadsheet tabs. Click on each tab to see the different schedules. If you need help figuring it out just ask.
Election Payroll Information
The City began paying election inspectors through the payroll system beginning with the February 2024 election. If you haven't been paid for an election it is because you haven't successfully completed the payroll packet. NEW WORKERS must fill out the payroll packet. If you have not done so please fill out the Election Inspector Payroll Packet and return it via email (jsmith@grossepointefarms.org) or the white drop box located behind City Hall (you can fold it up and put it in an envelope). Again, if you have been paid via direct deposit than you are all set and don't need to fill out the payroll packet.
Election Training
Election training is tentatively scheduled for 10/26 (10 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.), 10/27 (2:00 p.m.) and 10/28 (10:00 a.m.) at City Hall, 90 Kerby Road in the Council Chambers. You can choose any one of the hour-long training sessions.
New election inspectors should watch the training videos prior to attending the training with the exception of the videos covering absentee counting board. These videos can be viewed here: https://cms8.revize.com/revize/grosseptfarms/departments/city_clerk/election_inspector_training.php
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at dkozickI@grossepointefarms.org (EMAIL IS BEST).
Sincerely,
Derrick Kozicki, Assistant City Manager & City Clerk
City of Grosse Pointe Farms
