Elections Results Update -

Results for the 2022 General Election in Pinal County have been updated this morning. The posted results reflect the 80,771 Early Ballots that were returned, accepted, and tabulated prior to Election Day, plus the 35,695 ballots that were voted at the Polls on Election Day.

There remain 26,576 ballots to be processed and tabulated. 24,863 of these comprise Early Ballots that have been received or dropped in drop boxes since Saturday or dropped at Polling Places on Election Day. Approximately 19,500 of these need to go through the signature verification process before being tabulated. You can learn more about the signature verification process in the video below.

The remaining 1713 are provisional ballots voted at the polls. To learn more about provisional ballots, view the video below. Voters of Conditional Provisional Ballots have until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16th, to present identification to Voter Registration staff.

A reminder that Election results will not be official until the
Board of Supervisors canvasses the results.

At this morning's Board of Supervisors Meeting, County Manager Leo Lew told the Board that the Election has gone smoothly. County Attorney Kent Volkmer estimated a turnout of around 51%, a record for a non-presidential election.

A small update may be posted on Wednesday evening, with further updates expected in the coming days.
