Electric Rates Will Change on October 1
Our rates are changing on October 1. Beginning with bills rendered October 1, residential customers will see their bills go up $4.50 per month.

The monthly base charge for residential customers will go from $18 per month to $22.50 per month. The energy charge will remain at 7.19ยข per kilowatt hour.

When the PUD was energized in 1984, the Board of Directors at that time pledged to keep rates 5% lower than Portland General Electric (PGE), which used to serve this area. With the new rates, the typical monthly residential bill for a CRPUD customer will be about 45% lower than that of a PGE customer.

We will host our annual Customer Appreciation Dinner at the Columbia County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, October 3, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are free for CRPUD customers and limited to 500. They are available to pick up at our office.
