Silvie Letendre and Ada Mihacea of Capital-Image scored an invitation to the VIP/Media launch of the new Ribeira Grande Portuguese wine held in Montreal at the trendy Portus 360 restaurant, catered by the renowned Portuguese chef Helena Loureiro. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with industry professionals and to get one step closer to winning a first account in the wine industry.

The Liberal Party of Canada held its Biennial Convention in Ottawa this year, from May 4 to 6. Over 4,000 delegates took part in their first in-person convention since 2018, where they debated policy, elected new party officials, and prepared for the next federal election campaign. Hillary Clinton, former United States Secretary of State, was one of the keynote speakers and had a fireside chat with Chrystia Freeland, Canada’s Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister. Maurice Rioux from the Ottawa office attended and posed for a picture with François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry.

Capital-Image presents their Stars of the Month, as voted by the team. The most recent leading celestial colleagues are Camille Gagnon and Sabrina Sévigny.

Justice for Children and Youth (JFCY) is an Ontario-based organization that provides legal services and support to young people and homeless youth. Star-studded office launch for Netflix

In early April, Netflix inaugurated its new corporate office space with a star-studded reception celebrating Canadian talent and the film and TV industry in Canada. The Proof PA/GR team secured the participation of political guests, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Ontario Ministers Lumsden and Fedeli, Deputy Mayor of Toronto Jennifer McKelvie, U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Cohen, and Canada’s Ambassador to the U.S. Kirsten Hillman. It was a

hugely successful event which saw Netflix co-CEO, Ted Sarandos visit Toronto for the occasion.

Arbor memorial establishes Legacy Council

Since late last year, the Proof team has worked with long-standing client Arbor Memorial to establish a Legacy Council, a group with the mission of understanding the diverse perspectives of Canadians on death, dying and the celebration of legacy.

NWMO's cooperation agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy

Matt Trojan and David Niedzwicki from the DC Office, along with Marcus Mattinson from the PA/GR team, facilitated a cooperation agreement between the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)!

 

At a ceremony organized by Proof at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, NWMO CEO and President Laurie Swami and DOE Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy Kathryn Huff were joined by Natural Resources Canada Assistant Deputy Minister Debbie Scharf to sign a Statement of Intent to expand cross-border cooperation on technology, research, and personnel.
