Elektrik Kitchen: Music Production Workshops

Workshop for Teens:

Thursday March 12, 5:30 - 7:30pm

Workshop for Adults:

Thursday March 19, 6:00 - 8:00pm

Join Elektrik Kitchen for an evening to explore how rhythm, melody, and texture can be shaped by using digital software and analogue instruments and your imagination.

Elektrik Kitchen invites you to step into the creative world of electronic music with hands-on play with Ableton and analogue hardware.

Hosted by local producers Ross Dupree and Andrew Nolan, the workshop is equal parts listening, learning, and practical discovery. You will explore how rhythm, melody, and texture can be shaped and how you can do this using just your laptop or analogue instruments. From drum machines and samplers, to synthesizers and effects, de-mystify how to translate your musical ideas into soundscapes and productions using Ableton Live.

This is not a lecture—it’s an invitation to play. No previous experience is required; just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
