Electronic Visit Verification Starts Next Month
Don't forget! Starting November 2, caregivers must use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for each shift. EVV is not replacing paper timesheets or time submissions on the web portal, MyDirectCare.com. EVV is in addition to your normal time submission.

All time submissions for the following service codes must have a matching EVV record: S5125, S5126, T1019, and T1020. (This includes services codes with modifiers. i.e. S5125U5, S5125UA, etc.)

Note: Live-in workers are exempt from using EVV.

Caregivers, keep an eye out for a welcome email from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) with your unique state-issued ID number. You will need this ID number to register for the EVV system.

Submitting an EVV Shift
The two most common ways to submit an EVV shift are with Sandata Mobile Visit Verification (MVV) and Sandata Telephonic Visit Verification (TVV).

Sandata Mobile Visit Verification (MVV)
MVV requires a smartphone or device with location services. MVV uses the Sandata Mobile Connect app. You may download the Sandata Mobile Connect app at any time, but to register you will need your login credentials provided in the DHS welcome email. Sandata Telephonic Visit Verification (TVV)
