December 1st is here and we officially kick off the Christmas season.

• How is your Christmas shopping going?
• What about the baking?
• Have you hung the lights?
• Do you have enough wrapping paper?
• Any calendar conflicts with parties or programs? 

All of these things are part of enjoying the season, but none are more important than remembering to honor the Christ Child- the real reason for Christmas.  Don’t allow these other  ‘things’ to become more important or pull your focus away from Christ’s birth. One ‘Silent Night’ gave us a Savior and Christmas is all about celebrating that birthday!
