Dear Parents,
Our priority re-enrollment will be ending on February 9th and if you haven't re-enrolled, you may be asking the question, "Why VCS?" We plan on addressing that question at Open House on February 6th! We will first meet at 6:30 in the MP and then you'll visit your child's classroom.
Looking forward to a great evening together!
Have a blessed weekend!

Parent Alert!
~ Help us to keep our students safe ~
Do Your Part To Stay Healthy
The U. S. and VCS is in the middle of a brutal flu season. Mrs. Manuel sent out info yesterday with tips and healthful hints to keep this bug at bay. Please be sure to do your part to make sure our school as a student "body" stays healthy.
- If you are sick STAY HOME. If you have flu-like symptoms or a fever you should avoid contact with others.
- Wash your hands often with warm soap and water.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- At least once a day during Flu Season, wear gloves and wipe down the following areas with Clorox Bleach Wipes; student desks, student computer keyboards, door knobs inside and out and any other surface with high student contact.
- Remind students to cover their mouths and nose when they sneeze.
- Flu Symptoms - fever, chills, headache, fatigue, body aches, trouble breathing, pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen, difficulty eating or drinking or confusion.

Helpful Hints
Should it be necessary for a student to miss school due to a vacation, parents must procure permission from administration 5 days
in advance of the absence by filling out our Planned Absence Form.
Approval of a planned absence is subject to a review of attendance history and academic standing. Failure to receive advance
absence approval may result in an unexcused absence.
The Planned Absence Form is available in the Elementary Office.
