I’m grateful for the rain, as I know we need it, but I sure do like our sunny days! I'm reminded that even on cloudy days, when the sky is gray and the weather gloomy, the sun is still there, behind the blanket of clouds.
When you experience hardship, discouragement, and challenges, don't forget the “Son” is still there. James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” He waits for us to draw near- He wants to be our source of strength and joy!
Worry can be something I deal with. I tend to find myself worrying about the possible outcomes of a situation. A good friend recently reminded me not to borrow from tomorrow what hasn’t even happened yet. Philippians 4:6, “Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
I encourage you (and myself) to look to the ‘Son’ when the storms of life are present.
