Finishing up a school year is hard work! It’s hard work for the students. It's hard for the teachers, and it’s hard for parents. Schedules are busy, people are either energized or tired. Please be patient with one another and focus on celebrating the wonderful accomplishments of the year! There are many.
Just a few….
- Kindergarteners are reading!
- 1st graders are telling time- (at least to the half hour)!
- 2nd graders are learning the difference between the subject and predicate part of a sentence!
- 3rd graders are starting to write in cursive!
- 4th graders know about the history of California (we’ll miss you while at camp next week)!
- 5th graders went away to camp, wrote a state report and are ready to be promoted to Middle School!
I encourage you to look back, and count your blessings!
For they are numerous. I know, because I have the privilege of greeting them everyday….. your children, our students, God's precious ones!
