Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS


Adapted from Disney's beloved animated film and the works of  Rudyard Kipling, the "man cub" 
Mowgli, bounds through the jungle and learns what it means to be human.

We are looking for a 25 Cast performers , students in grades 2*, 3, 4 and 25 Chorus members in grades K - 2 to join this year's elementary musical production. *Please note that the cast script requires students to be strong independent readers, particularly if in 2nd grade.

Cast Rehearsal Information
Weekly rehearsals for the CAST will be on Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:30 pm for Blocking AND Wednesdays, 4:00 - 5:30 pm for Music.  Rehearsals in November may extend until 6:00 pm.

K-2 Chorus Rehearsal Information
Everett School (for Everett and Cherokee students) - Tuesday afternoons, 3:15 - 4:00 (Oct 15, 22, 29 and Nov 5) Everett students will be supervised until the start of rehearsal. This start time allows for students to arrive from Cherokee.
Sheridan School (for Sheridan students) - Thursday mornings, 7:15-8:00 am (Oct 17, 24, 31 and Nov 7) 

All Chorus students will be required to attend dress rehearsal on Tuesday, November 12 at the DPM Auditorium from 4:00-5:00 pm.

REGISTRATION will open 6am on Thursday, August 29. 

Students registered for the cast will audition for role placement on Tuesday, September 10 from 4:00 - 5:30 pm in the DPM Auditorium. All cast members will meet on Wednesday, September 11 for music practice from 4:00-5:30 pm.

Dress Rehearsal will be held on Tuesday, November 12 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM and tentatively on Wednesday, November 13.  
Performance Dates:  Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 PM. (Students to arrive at 6:15 PM)

Tuition:  $275 for Cast, $50 Chorus

Full payment is required to process your registration.  No refunds on drama or musical performances made after a student has auditioned and received their role.
