LAS VEGAS – Eleos Care, which provides specialized care for individuals with developmental disabilities, is filling a widening gap in Las Vegas and bringing care to a vastly underserved community. After a 13-month licensing process, the newly state-approved company joins a small group of only about 20 fully-licensed service providers in Nevada, making Eleos Care a welcome newcomer to hundreds of residents who are currently on long waitlists to receive the care they need.
Eleos Care offers intermittent care, 24-hour residential care, 24-hour on-call nursing staff, 24-hour awake staff, behavioral and dietary support, money management assistance, and socialization outings for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities, with jobs and day training expected.
While focusing on the physical and mental health, and overall happiness of everyone, Executive Director Guerin Senter will bring his experience as a CPA, executive and finance company president to Eleos with plans to revolutionize the industry.
“My goal is to provide an evolved version of in-home care to those who desperately need it…,” said Senter. “We will be an extension of our patients’ families, providing compassionate care in the same way we would if they were our own loved ones.”
In addition to in-home care, Eleos Care intends on opening 10 houses in the next few years. Each house will be home to residents with special needs who will receive the round-the-clock services they need to function in daily life.
