Summer is upon us and we’re gearing up for all that May has in store. We love the anticipation of summer here at Elevate because with it come new opportunities to invest in our community. Per usual, we have a lot going on at our campus in the next several weeks. Read more about the opportunities we have to get involved and empower our community in this May edition of our newsletter.

ELEVATE WORK GRADUATION

Join us in celebration of our May graduating class of Elevate Work coming up on the 24th from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the Elevate Branson campus, 310 Gretna Road. Our students have been dedicated to seeing their goals come to fruition by spending their time and energy investing in their potential career paths, relationships, and their futures. We can’t wait to honor them with a commencement ceremony in just a few short weeks! 

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION GALA

At the end of April, we honored our volunteers with an appreciation gala, and celebrated them for their commitment to serving our neighbors in our community. Nothing happens effectively without the help and service of our volunteers; because of them, we see lives changed, healing restored, and purpose found for our neighbors frequently. Our volunteers play an integral part of fulfilling our mission to empower our neighbors to reach their full potential. They are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it was a joy to celebrate their dedication with a fun night of music, laughter and community!

ELEVATE KIDS

We have good news and bad news: the bad news is, our after-school program comes to an end this month. The good news? We start summer school in June, and are looking forward to hosting our kids back here at our campus for some incredible summer fun and learning opportunities. ELEVATE ENTREPRENEURS GRADUATION

At the end of April we celebrated nine budding entrepreneurs with a commencement ceremony, celebrating them for their work over the last twelve weeks as they’ve pursued the tools and resources needed to develop their own businesses. We’re excited to introduce nine additional small businesses providing products, services, and entertainment to the Branson community. From bamboo wind chimes, to mobile art workshops, to themed wedding coordination, we’re proud of these entrepreneurs and are looking forward to seeing how their businesses continue to grow from here.

ELEVATE RIDES UPDATE

Elevate Rides featuring MyCityRides Branson has successfully seen 5 program participants hit the road on their very own, brand new motorized scooter! Reliable transportation is essential for our local businesses, and for individuals in our community desiring to experience the autonomy that comes with going where you want, when you want. The impact we’ve seen this program have already is immeasurable. We’re looking forward to partnering with more businesses in our community to strengthen our workforce with dependable transportation. VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: TOBY TYLER

Toby is a faithful Thursday Evening Meal Delivery volunteer, and is often found showing up early on Thursday nights to help set up, prepare vans, and lead the evening of Outreach for other fellow volunteers. Toby also serves as a van driver, and leads a meal delivery route almost every week. Toby leads with intention and love for others, and we’re thankful for him and his dedication and passion for serving our community. 

Swing by on your morning commute or stop in for a mid-day pick-me-up! Elevate Coffee provides hand crafted espresso based drinks, refreshing smoothies, and delicious desserts.
