Inside the Outdoors, in partnership with Orange County Waste & Recycling, is proud to present the EcoChallenge curricula, designed specifically for grades K-12. This engaging program encourages students to explore waste reduction and recycling in interactive and fun ways, aligning seamlessly with school curricula.

Key Highlights of the EcoChallenge:

• Free Educational Resources: Access our comprehensive waste diversion curricula tailored for different grade levels.
• Interactive Learning: Foster a sense of environmental responsibility through hands-on activities that make waste reduction and recycling concepts come to life.
• Raffle Giveaways from the Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks: Teachers who register and implement the EcoChallenge with their students will automatically be entered into raffles for exciting giveaways from the Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks! Prizes include autographed memorabilia such as a jersey, baseballs, hockey pucks, and hats.

Inside the Outdoors, administered by the Orange County Department of Education, is a unique and hands-on environmental education program. Our mission is to nurture a natural curiosity in students, educators, and communities through environmental literacy experiences, including standards-based Field Trips and Traveling Scientist programs, as well as Community Programs. Professional staff, with the support of local and statewide partners, facilitate meaningful experiences with a consistent focus on service and data-driven outcomes.
