A group of elementary and middle school educators who helped with the design of DiscoverU 2018.

We convened our first-ever DiscoverU Teacher Design Team! This group of elementary and middle school educators planned activities for college and career exploration, designed for all teachers to use. They also advised the DiscoverU team on school swag and outreach. Stay tuned to learn more about the resources they're creating.

Data from several high schools in South Seattle and South King County shows that only 60 percent of 12th graders report having a specific step-by-step plan for getting into the postsecondary program of their dreams. DiscoverU is an excellent opportunity to kickoff high school and beyond planning with students, explore career pathways, or introduce students to postsecondary and on-the-job training options.

Dive deeper into the data, and the stories behind the numbers, in the Road Map Project's latest Results Report.

Through consultation with over 800 College Bound Scholarship students across Washington State, College Knowledge was born. These 23 digital handouts, in the state's top 5 languages, cover the most requested college readiness topics.

College Knowledge booklets in Russian_ Spanish_ Vietnamese_ and Somali.

DiscoverU encourages our community to come together and promote college and career exploration for the region's youth. Through fun activities in and out of school, students throughout Seattle and South King County will have opportunities to explore their futures. DiscoverU puts student interests at the center and helps connect their aspirations with the many pathways to get there.
