JRB FINANCIAL PULSE

September 2025 — Issue #88

A Word from the CEO

It is with great humility, enthusiasm — and my running shoes — that I begin my tenure as JRB CEO. I am deeply grateful to the JRB Board, Mitch and staff for their steadiness, generosity, and warmth during this transition. Learn more about my values, what drives me and how I plan to move the JRB forward.

In this issue, you’ll also find a review of the latest Trustees Report on Social Security and Medicare. While the data is sobering, showing continued deterioration in 2024, it underlines the importance of the work we do every day to help participants prepare for the future.

Finally, the JRB Board bids farewell to Rabbi Jonathan Medows. Rabbi Medows, who was also a CPA, represented the Rabbinical Assembly on the Board and served on the Audit, Insurance, and Finance Committees. His insights as both a rabbi and finance professional were uniquely valuable.

Thank you for your trust as I take on these new responsibilities. I am honored to serve as CEO, and I look forward to the important work we will do together.

Shalom and Shanah Tovah,
