During his State of the Union address, Joe Biden failed to answer for the crises he has created over the last two years. In stark contrast to Democrats' Far Left agenda, House Republicans have been working to combat these crises and deliver on our Commitment to America.

1. We’re Just Getting Started — House Republicans have hit the ground running to provide a critical check on the Biden Administration. This month, I led my colleagues in demanding Joe Biden answer for the countless crises caused by his reckless spending and radical policies ahead of his State of the Union address. 

2. Flooding the Airwaves — During President Biden’s State of the Union address, he doubled down on his failed policies and even attempted to tell Americans that our economy is strong. This is a lie, and every hardworking family knows it.

To set the record straight, House Republican Conference’s media row facilitated over 700 interviews on how we are implementing our Commitment to America and providing critical checks on the Biden Administration.

3. An Honored Guest — I was proud to host Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Smith as my honored State of the Union guest. Under Joe Biden’s radical agenda, crime is skyrocketing across the country. House Republicans will always ‘Back the Blue’ and support our nation’s law enforcement officers. Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Smith has dedicated his career to protecting and serving our communities, and I was honored to have him as my guest. 

4. FOR the People — Federal agencies should work for the American people, not against them. At the first Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government hearing, I exposed the FBI’s unconstitutional ‘censorship by surrogate’ and election meddling and stood up against the DOJ's political targeting of parents.

House Republicans have laid the groundwork, and now we will root out corruption in the federal bureaucracy to create a government accountable to the people. 

5. Results in Action — Last week, I visited Fort Drum with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) and met with Major General Gregory Anderson, Commanding General of the 10th Mountain Division. During our tour, we witnessed firsthand the projects my office secured through our work in the annual National Defense Authorization Act to strengthen the Fort Drum community, increase our military readiness, and support our servicemember families. I look forward to working together with Claudia as we bring the concerns of Jefferson County to the highest levels and deliver results for Fort Drum.
