Recital Costumes-
 
Costume Week was a big success.  The dancers all looked fabulous in their recital costumes and the staff is getting excited to see all the dancers shine on stage!

We have placed the orders for those dancers that
 needed a different size and we will hand them out to the dancers as they arrive.  We hope to have all replacements by Picture Day.  
 

Picture Day-

P icture Day is Sunday May 21st ...Mark Your Calendars!  I will be sending out the picture schedule at the end of April. Pictures will be taken at the studio by Northwest Sports Photography.  Order forms will be sent home with dancers the week of pictures.

Recital Info-

Here is an outline of our schedule:
Spring Ballet Performance "Ragtime" (*note Ballet Show dates)
Saturday, May 20th- Ballet Rehearsal -ACT I 9:00-11:00 ACT II 11:00-1:00 @ Elite
*Saturday, June 17th- Ballet Dress Rehearsal  @ Liberty High School
ACT I- 9:00-10:30
ALL DANCERS- 10:30-11:30
ACT II- 11:30-1:00
*Ballet Show "Ragtime" Saturday, June 17th- 4:00pm  & 7:00pm      
 
Spring Recital "Hooray for Hollywood" (All Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap Classes)
Tuesday, June 20th- ACT I Rehearsal 5:00-9:00
Wednesday, June 21st- ACT II Rehearsal 5:00-9:00
--No rehearsals on Thursday, June 22nd (last day of school for Beaverton District)
Friday, June 23rd- Rehearsal time TBA-depends on Hillsboro District early release time.  They will let us know in April.  We will either do 1:00-5:00 Dress Rehearsal and a 7:00pm Show or we will do a 4:00-9:00 Dress Rehearsal and no show.   
Saturday, June 24th- We will have 2 or 3 shows on Saturday.  This schedule will depend on the Friday Schedule.  Exact Show Times will be posted in April. 
I will be emailing out a complete recital packet in May. This packet will include details on rehearsal schedules, show times, recital line up, room mom volunteer sign up, dressing room info and more!
The staff is working on making a smooth rehearsal and show schedule that will accommodate all our dancers and our busy Elite Families. 


Elite Performing and Competitive Company Auditions for the 2017-2018 Season-



We will have a parent/dancer informational meeting at Elite on Wednesday, May 24th at 8:00pm.  If your family is interested in finding out what Elite's Dance Companies are all about, please plan on attending this meeting. Audition applications and the audition schedule will be handed out at the meeting.    
 
Auditions will be held at Elite Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Dates to Remember-

 

Memorial Day
~Elite is closed Monday, May 29th for Memorial Day.
~Last day of regular studio classes is Friday, June 16th.

Summer Classes & Camps-
 
Elite's Summer Session will run July 10
th - August 18
th

Our summer schedule will include day camps as well as afternoon and evening classes.  Online  registration for Elite's Summer Session will begin mid April. 

2017-2018 Session-

Fall pre-registration will begin May 8th.
Fall classes will begin on Monday, September 11, 2017

How many years have you been dancing at Elite?
This is my third year at Elite but I have been dancing since I was 2
 
What is your favorite style of dance?
Ballet, but I also love tap and jazz
 
What is your favorite memory at Elite?
During the recital last year when my friends and I were making up routines in Room A while we waited for our turn to go on stage. I was so sad when recital was over.
 
Tell us about your family...
I live with my Mom and Dad, my little brothers Caleb and Cole, 2 cats and 2 fish
 
If you aren't dancing...what else do you like to do?
I love to read, do gymnastics, soccer, swimming and collect stuffed animals
 
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Being a veterinarian and teaching my kids how to dance
 
Random fact about me
I am very scared of dogs
